How to create paper graduation caps

Mini graduation hats - Mini cappelli da laurea

I was asked of creating 72 mini graduation hats because the future graduate will donate a bottle of beer with, on top, a mini graduation hat.

So in the pictures below you can see the mini hats. They are so nice, isn't it?

I think it's a great gift idea, simple and super cute.

Mi è stato chiesto di creare 72 cappelli da laurea (il classico tocco...) che il futuro laureato regalerà ad amici, parenti e conoscenti, dopo averli messi a mò di tappo sopra a delle bottiglie di birra.

Così nelle foto qui sotto potete vederli. Sono belli, non è vero?

Secondo me è proprio un'idea carina e un regalo simpatico.

Finished elephants project - Progetto elefanti finito

I'm a little in a hurry this week, but I'd like to share with you the finished elephants project.

So in the pictures below you can see the 15 elephants.

I think they are so cute and they were commissioned for a graduation day.

Questa settimana sono un pò di corsa per cui vi scrvo un post breve.

Volevo cmq condividere con voi le foto del progetto al quilling riguardante gli elefanti.

Così ho caricato le foto dove si vedono tutti e 15 gli elefantini. Sono carini, non è vero?

E' un progetto che mi è stato commissionato per una laurea.

2 elephants made at quilling - 2 elefantini creati al quilling

I was asked of creating 12 little elephants, made at quilling.

Here's the pictures of the 2 templates, one is made in white paper, the other one in silver paper.

Which one do you prefer? :-)

I was asked of creating a special exploding greeting card for the graduation of a girl who loves Alice in Wonderland, so you will see some photos related to this theme on the box.

I created the little girl using the quilling technique and I had fun because I love so much this technique, I think that the results are stunning :-)

Mi è stato chiesto di creare un biglietto scatolina per una laurea, per una ragazza che ama Alice nel paese delle meraviglie, così nelle foto vedrete che sui lati della scatolina ho incollato delle immagini relative a questo tema.

Per creare la piccola pupazzina ho utilizzato la tecnica del quilling e mi sono divertita davvero tanto, secondo me i risultati del quilling sono proprio spettacolari :-)

I was asked of creating a favor box for a graduation.

So I've thought of creating a little origami box.

Then I created a little cap and a little parchment that I've glued on top of the box.

I think that the result is so sweet! :-)

Così ho pensato di fare una piccola scatola secondo la tecnica dell'origami.

Poi ho creato un piccolo tocco e una piccola pergamena e li ho incollati sopra alla scatolina.

Direi che il risultato è proprio carino, non è vero? :-)

Exploding box for a graduation - Exploding box per una laurea

This is a commissioned exploding box for a graduation.

Because the girl will graduate from foreigner languages, I've thought of creating something related to the world.

I've also included a congratulations message in some different languages and on one side I've glued the image od tha Babbel tower.

To create the world, because I didn't have anything related...I used a polystyrene ball and glued on a sticker of the world map.

Questa è una scatolina che mi è stata commissionata per una laurea.

Poichè la ragazza si laurea in lingue straniere, ho pensato di creare qualcosa relativo al mondo.

Ho incluso un messaggio di congratulazioni in diverse lingue e su un lato della scatolina ho incollato l'mmagine della torre di Babele.

Per creare il mappamondo, siccome non avevo nulla che gli assomigliasse...ho utilizzato una pallina di polistirolo su cui ho incollato un adesivo del planisfero.
