Spring wreath with paper flowers

Paper Primrose in yellow - Primula di carta in giallo

Today I show you an idea I made yesterday. I was contemplating the Primroses I have outside and then I had this idea of trying to make one in paper...and in the pic below you can see the end result.

To create the flowers I used a heart punch and cut 5 paper hearts, while to make the vase I used a piece of corrugated paper and for the leaves I used a piece of green paper.

To embellish the vase I glued a wooden ladybug. 

These flowers are so easy to make and so gorgeous. You can make them in many different colours and they are a very nice home decor.

Oggi vi mostro una creazione che ho fatto ieri pomeriggio. Stavo infatti ammirando le Primule che ho sulla finestra e mi è venuta l'idea: perchè non provare a farle con la carta?

Così qui più sotto potete vedere il risultato della mia creazione. Per creare i fiori ho usata una perforatrice che tagli i cuori, mentre per il vaso ho usato della carta bluette e per le foglie ho usato un pezzo di carta verde. Per abbellire il vaso ho incollato allo stesso una coccinella di legno.

Questi fiori sono davvero belli e facili da fare e si possono realizzare in tanti colori diversi. Sono sicuramente una bella idea regalo come una fantastica decorazione per la casa.

Esploding box for Spring - Exploding box per celebrare la Primavera

To celebrate Spring, I've created this super cute exploding box with a lot of daisies, butterflies and the sun.

It is a great gift to uplift the spirit of the person who will receive it.

The daisies come from a Forever Friends sheet of paper.

I cut each of them with a pair of scissors and used some strips of acetate to create the hanging flowers.

Per celebrare la Primavera ho creato una exploding box con tante margherite, le farfalle e il sole.

E' un regalo davvero carino e sicuramente rallegrerà lo spirito di chi riceverà questa scatolina.

Le margherite provengono da un foglio di carta della serie Forever Friends.

Ho ritagliato ogni margherita con le forbici e poi ho incollato ogni fiore a sottili strisce di acetato cosicché potessero stare in piedi.

New rings with paper flowers to celebrate spring! - Nuovi anelli di carta con fiori per celebrare la primavera!

I've created some new rings with paper flowers.

I've created one with a paper rose that I've made out of a book page.

I've created the second one with a daisy. I've used a little piece of white paper and a little piece of crepe paper for the center of the flower.

The third one is a ring with a giant anemone flower! I've used a sheet of orange paper and a sheet of black paper for the center.

The results are in the photos. They are a gorgeous idea to celebrate spring!


Ho creato dei nuovi anelli con dei fiori di carta.

Ho creato il primo incollando alla base una rosa di carta che ho creato ritagliando la pagina di un libro.

Ho creato il secondo incollando alla base una margherita che ho creato utilizzando un pezzo di carta bianca e al centro ho posto un "cuscinetto" di carta crespa che ho piegato più volte fino a farne un piccolo "cuscino".

Il terzo anello ha un anemone arancione, un anemone gigante! Ho utilizzato un pezzo di carta arancione e un pezzo di carta nera per creare il centro del fiore.

I risultati sono nelle foto. Sono sicuramente molto allegri e adatti a celebrare la primavera!
