Wedding table centrepiece: London theme - Centrotavola per un matrimonio: Londra

Hi all, today I show you another wedding table centrepiece I made using paper, this time the theme was London.

So I've created the Big Ben using carton box and I coloured the different parts using Promarker pens,

Then I've created the red phone box, using some red paper sheets.

Finally, I've created the iconic red bus, the old double decker bus. In this case, I draw the bus on a white sheet, I added all the features and using the Promarkers pens, I coloured all the different parts of the bus.

Buongiorno a tutte/tutti. Oggi vi mostro una creazione particolare che ho realizzato per un matrimonio: si tratta di un centrotavola a tema Londra.

Ho quindi realizzato 3 elementi iconici della bellissima città di Londra: il Big Ben, l'autobus a 2 piani rosso e la cabina telefonica.

Per creare il Big Ben ho usato del cartone e poi ho colorato le diverse parti usando dei pennarelli Promarkers.

Per creare la cabina rossa, ho utilizzato del cartoncino rosso, da 200 grammi e con il taglierino affilato, tipo bisturi, ho creato le varie finestrelle.

Infine, per realizzare l'autobus rosso, ho disegnato il bus su un foglio, colorato tutte le diverse parti sempre con pennarelli Promarkers e poi ho ritagliato il tutto e incollato le varie parti.

Time for a brief holiday... - Tempo di una piccola vacanza

Tomorrow I will take the plane and go on a brief holiday.

Where? As usual, in London! I will go there to have a look to cardmaking magazines, to go to Hobbycraft, Blade Rubber Stamp and John Lewis, plus many other shops...

And I will take some little naps on the park :-)

Domani parto per una breve vacanza. Dove? Come sempre a Londra! Vado là per vedere le ultime novità relative al cardmaking,  per leggere libri relativi alle creazioni di carta, per fare dei giri in alcuni negozi specifici e tanto altro...

E ogni tanto mi riposerò al parco :-)

Photos from London exhibition - Fotografie dalla fiera di Londra

I loved so much the London craft exhibition.

There were many great new cards, many new clear stamps,  a lots of little dies for Big shot and other cutting machines, many inks, scoring boards, ribbons, punches, paper pads.

I could see that the "star products" of this year were the little metal dies for the cutting machine.

I'm publishing some photos I've taken during the exhibition, they show many great cards created with the little dies.

Sono tornata dalla fiera di Londra, che mi è piaciuta davvero molto.

C'erano un sacco di bellissimi biglietti, un sacco di stampini, tantissime piccole fustelle in metallo per la Big shot e le altre macchine che tagliano manualmente la carta, tantissimi bellissimi inchiostri, nastri, bottoni, perforatrici, bellissimi fogli di carta.

Ho potuto vedere che il prodotto più venduto erano proprio le piccole fustelle di metallo per le varie macchine che tagliano la carta.

Potete vedere nelle foto qui sotto i bellissimi biglietti che sono stati realizzati proprio con quelle fustelle.

Spero che le foto vi siano di qualche ispirazione.

Craft exhibition in London - Fiera della carta a Londra

Tomorrow morning (early morning...) I will fly to London because there is a craft exhibition.

I can't wait to be there!

I know that there I will find new papers, stamps, sentiments, paper punches, etc...

Finally my week of holiday... - Finalmente le vacanze...

I will be on holiday from tomorrow morning till next Monday.

Tomorrow I will fly to London to buy new papers, new embellishments, new paper stuff.

I can't wait to see what's new in the cardmaking field! :-)
